Accessories are some of my very favorite things. Unfortunately, there are times in life when you think you look great with your load of accessories, but really… um… notsomuch.
I’m not sure if the neckwarmers, large amounts of teal and purple or the excessively sized sunglasses that threw us over the limit on accessories here, but something did it. I’m sure there was an alarm sounding somewhere.
That’s me on the far right with 2 of my besties from high school, Laura and Sarah. You wanna know something about our high school? There were only 31 of us in my graduating class, so we were tight. I’ve talked to both of these girls this week! I found this picture- circa 1994- on Sarah’s mom’s refrigerator in 2009 when I found this one.
Thankfully, there are MUCH cuter accessories out there these days and I have found some fun ones for giveaways for you!

I love Silpada, but I always have trouble at their parties narrowing my long list of wish list items down to a few pieces!
I like the necklace with the ball pendant. Simple, but so pretty!
We have to pick just one? From MySlipada I’d pick the intertwined silver earrings or maybe one the sterling silver and mixed materials necklace…I might just depend what kind of mood I’m in.

Mmm, regarding Emily’s Silpada jewelry, item B1703 catches my eye; the 3-set of “Multi-stone Stretch Bracelets” aren’t flashy, but they seem to be primarily garnet, which is my own little daughter’s birthstone. (And 99% of the earrings caught my eye, too, but I won’t be a blog-hog.)
I’ll pretend I have a camera with a strap and love the “Chocolate Truffle” at Eclectic Whatnot. (Chocolate, duh.) But if I did win, I’ll get one with a zebra stripe in it and use it for my Shaffer-family “Dirty Santa” present; I have several cousins who have been wonderful about taking pictures at our get-togethers, and have much showier camera than I.
And I’ve just FB liked Eclectic, since those cousins are also “friends.”
The earrings that look like little black flowers are my favorite.
